Dan Moore is a writer and editor based out of the Bay Area. He's currently a contributor for The Ringer, Baseball Prospectus, and Oaklandside Magazine. His work has appeared recently in Al Jazeera English, The San Francisco Chronicle, and many other places on the web. His recent media appearances include Yahoo Sports, Fangraphs' Effectively Wild, Up Front KPFA, CBS Radio, and NPR's Here and Now. His essay, "What Do Cities Lose When They Lose Pro Sports" was a Pocket Best of 2022 selection.
